THE CAPE COD ISLANDER
Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket
There are few places in the world as lovely as Cape Cod and the Islands. Start with the Cape Cod Canal Visitor’s Center to learn how the building a scenic waterway transformed Cape Cod from a peninsula to an island. Then spend a full day with a guide as you explore Martha’s Vineyard—visit the Gingerbread Houses, Island Tabernacle, Oak Bluffs, the cliffs of Gay Head, and the shops and eateries of Edgartown. Take a walking tour of quaint Nantucket, famous for its cobblestone streets and whaling history, and spend some free time enjoying the island however you like. During the evening, dig into a dinner with musical entertainment and sip a cocktail “on the house.” Finish your tour back in Hyannis, with a stop at the Christmas Tree Shop—a Cape Cod landmark stocked with anything from holiday decorations to home goods to eclectic knick-knacks, all at bargain prices.
