A WEEKEND OF CULTURE AND CUISINE

 

Both practicing and armchair foodies alike will love this culinary tour of Boston. Start with a sweet stop at Phillip’s Candy House– Boston’s oldest Chocolatier. Then learn how to prepare New England clam chowder with a chef’s demo with dinner. On day two, buy cure a guide will take you on a culinary tour as you taste your way through the North End, help Boston’s answer to New York’s Little Italy. Travel to the other side of the planet with a tour of Chinatown’s market. Learn about Chinese moon cakes, bubbles teas, medicinal herbs, and Asian spices. Stop at the Boston Winery for a tour and an introductory lesson about making your own wine. Shop and grab a bite to eat at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Complete the tour at a local farmer’s market to pick up the freshest produce.

NEWPORT BY THE SEA
“America’s First Resort”

Come and enjoy the glamour and beauty of ritzy Newport, no rx RI. Open your trip with a tour of the Rosecliff Mansion, ed known for its exquisite French architecture and as the location of high society parties of the past. On Day 2, side effects spend the whole day exploring Newport. Take a guided tour including views of “The Point,” the mansions of the “Ten Mile Drive,” and learn about the areas summer residents. Enjoy a wonderful lunch buffet aboard the “Majestic” as you cruise past dozens of mansions, the Newport Bridge, the Rock House, and much more. Then tour of the fabulous Breakers Mansion, the largest in Newport, and learn about the Vanderbilt family. Next, head to lovely Newport Harbor for dinner and shopping at the Brick Marketplace. On the last day, take a morning stroll along the Cliff Walk, a famous coastal walkway. Finish your trip at the Green Animals Topiary Garden, with over 80 sculptured trees and shrubs, formal flowerbeds, and ocean views.
