Lobster lovers gather ‘round for this tour centered on the Maine Lobster Festival at Rockland Harbor. Begin your trip in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for the Kittery Outlets and a Lobster Roll dinner. Then head to Boothbay Harbor for a guided tour, where you’ll discover the beauty of this coastal region and its lighthouses, salt water birds, and local lobstermen. Take a short cruise to Burnt Island for the Lighthouse Keeper’s Home Tour, watch actors portray the family and life of Joseph Muise, lighthouse keeper from 1936 until 1951. Explore on the Island Nature Trails, as a naturalist describes the area’s flora and fauna. On day three, tie on your bibs for the Maine Lobster Festival, with a parade, arts and crafts, Twin Lobster lunch, marine exhibits, musical entertainment, contests, and over 20,000 pounds of lobster to be enjoyed! After the excitement of the festival, see the largest collection of lighthouse artifacts in New England at the Maine Lighthouse Museum, explore the famous L.L. Bean of Freeport and then snap a photo of the famous Nubble Light.

This tour has all the “Maine” attractions- lobsters, lumberjacks, and lighthouses! Begin in Bangor, ME where you can try your luck at Hollywood Slots. Then visit beautiful Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A guide will take you to the Peak of Cadillac Mountain, Otter’s Point, Sieur de Mont Springs, and Thunder Hole. Spend some free time shopping in downtown Bar Harbor, and sum up the evening with a fun-filled Maine Lumberjack Show. On day three, travel to Rockland Harbor for the Maine Lobster Festival. Enjoy a parade, Lobster lunch, arts and crafts, marine exhibits, musical entertainment, contests, and over 20,000 pounds of lobster! Your journey winds down with a stop at the Maine Lighthouse Museum and a visit in to L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine.
