Marvel at the beauty of northern New England on this tour. Your journey begins with a hearty New England Inn dinner in Vermont. On your first full day of touring, see the Morgan House Farm, the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, and the Church Street Marketplace. Dine aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen on Lake Champlain, watch views of the Adirondack and Green Mountains drift by. On day three, learn all about Vermont’s granite industry on a Rock of the Ages tour with a treat – fresh apple pie with a slice of Vermont cheddar cheese, of course! A knowledgeable guide will take you on a Franconia Notch tour to learn about the Old Man of the Mountain Site, and then hop on the Hobo Scenic Railroad Dinner Train for a warm, roast turkey dinner. On day four, start with a Loon Mountain gondola ride and then discover the lovely Kancamagus Highway and North Conway, NH. For great views of coastal Maine, take a 90-minute Lighthouse Lover’s cruise in Portland Harbor. Next, visit Freeport, ME, home to L.L. This tour offers a great sampling of the highlights of all six New England states. Start by rolling dice at the Foxwoods Casino Complex in Connecticut. Then visit scenic Mystic Seaport, where costumed guides make an old seaside community come to life. Tour the astounding Marble House Mansion in Newport, RI and spend free time exploring the harbor-side Brick Marketplace. Travel to quaint Cape Cod, where a full day of guide service will take you from the hub, Hyannis, to the outer Cape and Provincetown including a narrated cruise in Hyannis Harbor with the best view of the Kennedy neighborhood and the Hyannis JFK Museum. Then make a stop in Plymouth, America’s Hometown, to learn about the pilgrims’ landing site. Get to know Boston on a guided city tour, including the USS Constitution, Beacon Hill, The Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and more.
