FOODIES TOUR
TASTY NEW ENGLAND
This New England tour is a culinary treat. Start your trip at Johnson and Wales Culinary Museum of Providence, RI to explore exhibits on outdoor dining, chef’s uniforms, famous menus, cooking gadgets, stoves, cutlery, and more. Then head to Dorothy Cox Chocolates, for a look at the Cox family history, a chocolate making demonstration, and some sweet samples. Enjoy chef demos and shop ’til you drop at Sid Wainer’s Gourmet Kitchen and Foods, with its extensive cheese gallery, exotic produce, and other gourmet delights. Tour Westport Rivers Winery and enjoy a wine tasting complete with local farm cheeses. Next, take a tour of historic Providence, and learn about the “Mile of History,” the “Little Italy” of Federal Hill, and America’s oldest Baptist church. Ask the chef questions, watch a grilled pizza demonstration and enjoy a dinner at Gepetto’s on Federal Hill.
